Free Condo Inspection Checklist

Yum Cha

Today I made a new culinary experience and is of course the world the few poor souls who read this, like this report.
Carol, Sandra and I had this morning with Weekain, Carol's colleagues from the restaurant, and his sister Melody at Yum Cha ( en.wikipedia.org / wiki / Yum_Cha ), a traditional Chinese brunch - before it was actually a kind of extended breakfast, but now it makes most people predominantly seem to Saturday or Sunday lunch.

In short: you are sitting around the table, drink lots of tea and the restaurant very many waiters scurry around with trays are small portions of different dishes on top of. The waiter stopped at each table and ask if someone wants to have it (a bit like running sushi, only human). Yum Cha
literalness is really just drinking the tea / between meals, the actual food is called Dim Sum ( en.wikipedia.org / wiki / Dim_sum ), But as we get invited to Weekain Yum Cha, I'm assuming that for everyday purposes Yum Cha covers both.

I found the whole thing just great and it was a huge advantage that we had this Weekain and Melody. First, we would have tourism / Westerners probably never suspected that there is something or where it is found. (Was outside of the restaurant totally unspectacular -.! Ugly neon sign and a not very inviting staircase that led up but since it has received a determination 30 big tables, all fully occupied ((of course predominantly Asians in the clan)) and on the transition have been waiting for the people that a table free for the 2nd session. A bustle is!)
And the other have Weekain and Melody explains us all and selected the best dishes ("You have to try this, you do not have to try that one, it's not so nice") and told what to have, which is particularly famous or popular and why. Weekain especially all of us constantly looked after, seen that everyone always has enough tea and dips, and also so that everyone feels comfortable. Overall, it was

almost all stuff I've never eaten before, and all the crazy delicious. The tea alone has already impressed me - have to advise Weekains not like most Westerner ordered jasmine tea, but "Red Tea or Po lei - hard to describe, but very good and apparently really good for digestion.
The majority was fried, but still tastes great. What was not fried, steamed and served, in these traditional, round wooden containers - very stylish. We have tried very much different - at the Wikipedia entry for dim sum Gibts ne list - and it was really all that I can by no means try everything, but much of it was offered to us at least once and Weekain has waved it either more or we were too full to have something to eat (we have not tried this time Chicken feet, but that was really more because it came so late only from the kitchen, otherwise I would probably still just too curious to ignore) . But
found a few things I been particularly good, such as the Lotus Leaf Rice (sticky rice in lotus leaf damped), crispy fried squid, Egg Tart and especially Sweet tofu. That was a sweet dessert, a saddle moose with silky tofu mucus and a sweet, but fresh sauce - hard to describe, now sounds rather suspicious, looked even from very unusual and has once strange unfamiliar angefuehlt in the mouth, but it was really great .

Overall, today was a very good experience - you have faith in something a lot of fun. Weekain am very grateful that he has brought us sat there - and of course I am also grateful to Carol, by which we have Weekain first met. * G *

Get the rest of the day now, very quietly Round off (last night was a bit short), more than likely going to sit somewhere and read. This weekend I had the infinite happiness of a long weekend. Mel, my manager at Star Mart, has asked me a few weeks ago, if it's make me what would, from September, from Monday to Friday to work from Wednesday until Sunday - which I could not care relative, that is okay. Now the first of September just Catch a Monday - so I have four whole days off! Pure luxury!

Meeting People In Lake Tahoe

Living Life with the Kiwis

After I've already got the fourth complaint, why I did not heard from me, there are now endich again a new blog entry from me.

Like last time, even, The changes in my life keep very limited. Last week I was quite proud to report on the blog that I have achieved that the radio station has changed in the work: from the terrible radio ZM of Classic Hits FM - the promise "no repeat from nine to five on work days" have (for play it every day still the same playlist with the same songs, but at least the songs are not repeated during a day constantly). But unfortunately, unfortunately Monday morning I came back to work and someone had put back the radio station back on ZM. Aaaarrghh !!!!!

The last week was very nice for a total.
Wednesday was big farewell party, because Marcel Bob is left from the hostel. Bob has over 6 weeks here on the World Wide Backpacker usual (although he first wanted to stay only 3 days or so), and spent most of his time smoking on the terrace. On weekends, he has cleaned out in the hostel, and finally led the reception, more or less. He was just so solid Grundpraesenz that was always there when you talk to whom, lean, or has used grumbling about the weather. And now he's just gone - and a vital part of the WWB has gone with him. Andrew, the hostel owner, has been threw a farewell for Bob so on Wednesday the grill and we had a nice barbecue - Kiwi in the deepest winter. * G * We were all with jacket, scarf and gloves in the vicinity of the grill and had an overall murder Gaudi. There was a lot and frequently hugged goodbye and Carrie at some point the official mandate "to spread the LOVE" get.

If you read it here at some point, Bob: Sandra now spends much time in your place on the couch and chats with Steve, but they just ran to you is not even - you will not come back yet?

Thursday / Friday, I then had a first aid course which I was sent from Star Mart. I think so not altogether bad: I know my times from last 8 years ago brush up, get a nice certificate that does apply very well at somewhere else, and pay me the hours were too.
The course was very nicely done total: 18 people from different backgrounds rather, some other Star Mart employees, cafe workers, people from offices and hotels, etc., and James, the teacher was a nice, relaxed guy. So much was unknown mad not there, but it was very good to get everything again taught from scratch.

An unexpected bonus of the course, the social studies / country comparisons that I could do again. First problem was at the very beginning, when the question was asked in the room, who then already had a First-aid training has made. I have reported to me of course and I thought that the so 90% of all participants should be - were finally old enough for any more than drivers' licenses, and for that you need so NEN first aid certificate, is not it? - Think again. Only 3 other people had already NEN course behind him is obviously not a requirement for drivers' licenses here. Aha.
And then again in the grand final scenario. "Fatal Car accident crash between two cars, eight injured and 4 people come by in the car and help - Discuss in the group proceed as you would." The small, innocent Steph turned to her group and says, "Well, we have three cars involved, that means we can have time with three first-aid kit expect that we have available. "At this point, is reaping the small Stephi a surprised look. "Of aussgehen you can not." Non "? But does not every car of regulation produces a first aid box be? "" No, why? " Aha. Something else learned. These Kiwis. Should I go during my time here at some point down but still a car / rent / rent / whatever, I insist that there is extra for me in a first-aid kit. Yes, I'm just so German.

Saturday was a sort of farewell party from Star Mart - because Chevvron Star Mart has sold and the employee has not given a little farewell party. Therefore we (the employees of Star Mart Manners Mall and The Terrace, about 20 people, only three of them female), together with the bowling. And I must say it was a surprisingly pleasant evening. Well, you can special talent for bowling, I accuse no one now, but I am also not employed more stupid than the others and that's why we went actually not at all. Was just nice to be able to talk even with colleagues outside of work more closely and see that (at least a few of them) are real people with real opinions.

to bowling aussderm were some tasty morsels (Kaese! Oh my God, there was genuine ! Water with something something similar such as beer flavor in green bottles: - CHEESE bit) and served a drink (I am opposed to the term "beer" to be used for the brew, which was a choice) in New Zealand-brewed Heineken, lies. Uagh. I've decided to switch two bottles but rather at his own expense to Monteith Black, Dark beer tastes a bit less for what.

's funny, I found my training manager at getting drunk-watching. Zakir has finally of each, after each litter strongly demanded "High Five" and is constantly in Borat voice all comments with "Very niice, iii liike. We will not let him forget so quickly. Photos From the evening, a swing, which I will then sometime soon (I hope) put it online, along with some other images.

must anyway SOON finally an entry about my life in the hostel do with images. I miss just today A) the time and B) the images.

By the way, I will probably finally make a somewhat detailed account of my colleagues at the Star Mart, in particular about my "favorite colleagues," Kirk of which I have already told a few people. Suffice Kirk (to be akin to the German girl from the hostel) has something to do with Braiiinzzz, driving me slowly but surely the madness / murder fantasies increased. But as I said, the anecdotes I leave for another time on - you must somehow stretch on the rack / hold on the rod where otherwise nothing new happens.

Until next time again!

Happy Birthday Wish In Romanian

Chinese Water Torture - "! BRAINZZZZ Star Mart Style

Sun now I work for four weeks at Star Mart, have me gathered quite well in everyday life I think. After 2 days I had pretty much out to the minute when I am leaving home to take advantage of the maximum amount of sleep and still on time to come to work (even if Carol is rigid and firm feel that we always 5 minutes late turn are - but this is because that the clock is going on in their work; at Star Mart, she went to a few minute, which is doing wonders for my punctuality:-P)

the tension. and variety in my work keeps very limited. As I have already told, I spend most of the day to be at the box office and people sell candy bars, energy drinks and cigarettes, which they then pay with their debit card, which takes 3 times as long as a cash transaction. But progress is indeed a great thing. : - /

After about one and a half hours of work I am beginning to look forward to the lunch break; the rush hour between 12am and again at 13:30 to help pass the time. My lunch break then consists of a half-hour paid break where I leave the Star Mart as long as possible, and to curl up frequently in a cheap cafe round the corner to a sandwich and a few pages from each of my book. After the break, is it not too long until the shift change at 15pm. Before that must have counted the cash and for the new layer will be reset, that's a fairly entertaining as I find employment, so I can sign me as well like to volunteer for that.

leave at three so Anne and Kirk home, Minto starts his shift and either Karl, Jay or AJ to do so. From there are for only about 3 hours then me and if I'm lucky, we get inside the day still ne supply which are checked and displaced in need. I then go to uebergluecklich home, throw me with my book on the couch / my bed and dream of the weekend.

...

Yes, I know, I can hardly believe how incredibly exciting is my life. :-P

All this is now not at all exaggerated wailing sound. I can me with the daily grind quite get used once for a few weeks off brain and through, the end of September I'm back at rumreisen. But what a slightly macabre fascination for me status, is the idea that there are people who make full-time jobs of this nature all her life - and nothing else. There must be a drive but in the long run in the madness!

Stand up now so I have sometimes just before the massacre in the Star Mart my confidence. But a much more specific reason, because as the work.

"My Star Mart has (like so many supermarkets) all day about running in the background music - which I basically yes good find, because music helps you work well. But : unfortunately, we seem to get only one radio station in, and sending out an Radion ZM ( www.zmonline.co.nz - if someone wants mal ne taste) - the antenna of Bavaria Wellington . Ester shallow pop from the current charts. I think even an occasional okay, so for a few hours. But now I have all more than 7 hours a day at a time, 5 days a week. * !!!!* Aaarrrrrgh It is the disengagement!!

Then I've also been lucky that the music selection consists of the transmitter from around 15 different songs, they play every day 3-6 times, with about 50 other older pop songs, which they sprinkle through the week. My ears bleed! set up

To top it all but the Crown have, the nice man from the radio nor the audacity (or perhaps self-irony?) about twice in the hour so display a quote from in because of "Radio ZM has the greatest choice of music town "(! poor town), and their selection is soooo" random "and" Like that 'I'm feeling lucky button' on Google, you can never tell what's coming next "- and of course they play again exactly! the same scrap of the same song that I heard on the day and already 3 times about 7 times a day before.

* Aaaaarrrghhh!! * Give me show a sharp knife (or better yet a dull spoon, because it hurts more! \u0026lt;apropos: Finally once again that a Guess Spielchen> rate) and shows me where dwell the Radiofutzis, then I give something, "'random 'acts of violence "are!

Somehow reminds me the situation vague in my long Tuesday layer Cineplex. For months, has Haju from the bar every Tuesday, when he and I both had our long shifts, the new Britney Spears Album played up and down and practically nothing else.

everyone. God damned. Tuesday. Only. Britney. Spears.

(which are actually the people of Amnesty International when you need it?)

At the end he had me so far that I was profoundly grateful to him and have found it "good deed" where he once played something like Sugar Babes. (I still maintain stoutly that it was diabolical from the start his plan!)

Otherwise: little new in my life.

last week was once again caught cold and got me stocked up on defense at the pharmacy with a swing of good drugs. Entering a cough syrup in which in the pharmacy name and address must be because it is limited in how much one of them over may purchase a specified period, and a means to gargle with a sore throat, similar in about a nuclear first strike in the neck (the tablets Neubesiedelung the "natural throat flora" are already provided).

I still thought, well fine, I'll give me time to package insert English, am curious what is the stuff so everything for side effects. 'm Eager expectations, the packs on and: nothing. Nada. Nothin '. No note, no further instructions as the little bit outside what is written on the package, and far above all no side effects and wide. Aha. Once again nice to see the difference between Germany and New Zealand.

But you must say that the drugs have really helped very well. I'm feeling good again and I sniffling only very little. :-)

Also:

And Tuesday night I was with Carol, Marcel Bob and Weekain in the new Batman movie. * G * In short, it was very cool - especially of course Heath Ledger as the Joker, who was really as good as any for ages have previously claimed.

Get some point, possibly soon be a short or longer movie Review reins out here, but can not yet say exactly when, because I'm currently quite rare online. asked

And to all the latest after the entry (And unfortunately I have not replied): The blonde plague, aka Brainzzz is gone - what me satisfied with the deepest gratitude.

Thank you, Lord that you have found it right to teach me anew the true value of silence.

Carola does our tempo Raeren scourge occasionally on special occasions in which it is an extremely squeaky "Cool!" Gives of himself and throws me a diabolical look.

So, the end for today, because cold finger.

How is my home because people like that?
